bird photography came to me by
chance one day when i was offered a
good 400mm lens by a local reseller.
never have i thought of venturing into the
area of avian photography and the fun and joy that it  has got to offer.
mainly doing mostly travel and landscape photography, avian photography is not that easy as one might have imagined.  firstly these birds, are not stationary. unlike landscapes, avian photography really test your patience and persistency. what i realised through these two years, the more you know them - by name, and their whistlimg and calls, it gets more interesting and fun.....!!!! come on..try it out...

this gallery is a short compilation of the better shots from my
engagement in bird & avian phototgraphy. these are shot taken in the 'wild-life' of singapore
mainly in areas where natural environment of these birds still exist in the fast developing island.
