This section covers some final tips on Birding that we should take note of while setting up shop in the hides. Particularly to the hides in Sungei Buloh, they are mainly Wooden in nature. Where concrete flooring is present, this will help to prevent unnecessary vibrations that my effect final shots. Therefore, everyone should play their role and be sensitive of other photographers who have tripods deployed on hides that my shake through excessive movements by people walking around.
So here is some best practices
1) Do not talk too loud or talk unnecessarily.
2) Refrain from moving in too big of a group as the large movements one some gravel paved areas may just generate too much noise and frighten the birds.
3) Don't get too excited and greed over a specific field of view. Give others some chance and share your spot if you think you have got some good shots already.
4) Remember that there would be another day to come again to get better shots.
5) Keep the place clean, and do not litter!!!!
Here are some illustration on how the hides may look like. This hope to give you some sense of how setting up of your equipment might look like - for those who may be new to this.
